ABA Winter Nationals
Well, I don't know where to start. The Friday practice started really windy and I went decided to go ahead and still practice. That was a bad idea! The 1st few laps were okay! It was hard to get a gate due to the wind. I went down over the 1st double after a couple of laps.No big deal.I checked the bike and myself and everything was good. I rode a few more then disaster struck! I went to manuel over the 1st double and a strong wind gust blew my bike out of my control and I went sideways then over the bars! I hit the ground from about 10' above and hit hard. I got up then I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder area! I was taken over to the EMT, but I don't remember any of that! I went to the Hospital and had xrays done and a CT Scan. The head was ok but,I broke my collarbone in 3 spots.I will be out 4-6 weeks! That is the doc says! I hope to have a speedy recovery and back riding soon!
